Endura has made an addition to the Foam Outswing Extender Family. The 2" foam extender is now available for both the Z-Plus and Z-Classic styles. The extenders are items Endura attaches to convert 5-13/16" Outswing sills to 7-13/16". As part of the production system for an order containing Outswing Extenders, Endura attaches the extender in place of the nosing on the Z-Series sill.
For customers who prefer to combine inventory, and manufacture their own conversions, Endura recommends converting an existing Inswing sill to a wide Outswing sill using the following steps:
- Remove the adjustable inswing cap and nosing
- Attach the 2" foam extender in place of the nosing
- Apply the outswing bumper cap
The following measurements are easy to convert:
- 4-9/16" to 6-9/16"
- 5-5/8" to 7-5/8"
- 5-13/16" to 7-13/16"
Z-Plus and Z-Classic extenders are not compatible with each other.
