Greensboro, NC – March 2011 – Endura Products, Inc., the leader in manufacturing performance door system components, has joined a growing number of forward-thinking companies which utilize QR codes to enhance marketing efforts and track user response.
A Quick Response (QR) is a two-dimensional code that looks similar to the bar codes used on products in grocery stores. QR codes can be scanned by smartphone cameras and devices. Once scanned, they automatically link the device to Web sites, text, photos or videos.
Endura is rolling out QR usage with their print advertising campaign to drive traffic to their website. The company also plans to use the QR codes for special promotions and sales blitzes.
"It's more than just a new way to connect with customers," said Tessa Ramezane, Marketing Manager for Endura Products. "It's a way to direct people for a specific purpose and to track response."
A recent survey found that mobile bar code usage jumped 700 percent in 2010 compared with 2009, a clear indication that QR code are a trend that will exist for quite some time.
Endura Products, Inc. manufactures entry door component systems that improve door construction, door installation and long-term performance in the home. Endura components improve functionality, maximize the seal between the door and the opening, and reduce air and water infiltration.
