Greensboro, NC – June 2011 Door system components by Endura Products, Inc., are critical to the performance of energy efficient door systems which are eligible for up to a $500 tax credit in 2011.

On December 17, 2010, President Barack Obama signed into law the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010. Under this law, homeowners may claim a tax credit for the purchase of energy-efficient windows, doors, and skylights.

To be eligible for the credit, door systems must meet ENERGY STAR program requirements, be installed in a taxpayer's primary residence, and be installed by December 31, 2011. Homeowners may receive a tax credit equal to 10% of the product cost (installation may NOT be included) up to $500 for eligible doors.

Endura’s line of door system components are designed and tested to perform at high levels which contribute to energy efficient door systems. The company’s products include Z-Series Sills, FrameSaver no-rot door frames, Astragals for French door units, Weathersealing and Mull Pack Systems.
