This certification demonstrates Endura's corporate and social responsibility and environmental leadership. The Sustainable Forestry Initiative® is a fully independent, charitable organization dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management. SFI works with conservation groups, local communities, resource professionals, landowners, and countless other organizations and individuals who share the passion for responsible forest management. SFI certification allows customers to make buying decisions that have a positive impact on people and communities at home and abroad. Endura SFI certified wood products include Eastern White Pine, Radiata and Taeda on Frame and Trim components - including Framesaver. Nearly 2/3 of Endura's wood content is certified, the remainder coming from responsible fiber sources.
Using SFI labels to demonstrate corporate social responsibility, shows customers that manufacturers care about forest management and are willing to meet the growing demand for SFI‐labeled products. The SFI certification process is a rigorous process involving forest certification, chain‐of‐custody certification, and fiber sourcing requirements. SFI labels are recognized globally and provide a visual cue to help customers source certified forest products.
